To provide a preheater for a spout which can secure stable sealing performance sufficiently.
This preheater for a spout is equipped with a heating duct 11 surrounding the sealing part S2, of a spouts, which passes through a spout supply lane 7 and a hot blast supply means for supplying a hot blast at about 70 to 100°C into the heating duct 11. The sealing part S2 of the spout S is heated up to about 50 to 60°C of its surface temperature during the passage of the sealing part S2 of the spout S through the heating duct 11. The heating duct 11 is configured of guide plates 7a and 7b which support the spout S; a duct main body 12 of a nearly U-sectional shape surrounding the lower sides of the guide plates 7a and 7b; an edge plate 13 which almost completely blocks both edge open parts of the duct main body 12 to such an extent that the spout S can pass through the open parts; and a shielding plate 17, with a plurality of perforations, which covers the almost entire bottom surface of the duct main body 12. In addition, a hot blast is introduced into the heating duct 11 from a hot blast guide inlet 12a formed at the bottom surface of the duct main body 12.
