Abstract:
To provide a spray-type flux application device that can apply fluxes to rear faces of substrates easily and surely even if the substrates have different sizes.SOLUTION: The spray-type flux application device comprises a carrying device 4 that carries a substrate 2 held by a jig 3, a spraying device 5 that applies flux to a rear face of the substrate 2 carried by the carrying device 4, and a plurality of sensors 6 provided at equal intervals in a width direction of the carrying device 4, at a side closer to an upstream in a carrying direction than the spraying device 5. The substrate 2 held to be sandwiched by a lateral material 9 of the jig 3 and a slide bar 8. The sensors 6 are arranged at positions corresponding to gaps between the lateral materials 9 when the jig 3 passes on the sensors 6. A mounting pitch P of each sensor 6 is larger than a width W of the slide bar 8. When the number of the sensors 6 detecting existence of an article is one or zero, it is determined that the substrate 2 has passed on the sensor 6.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
