Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spray type water-soluble finishing agent composition usable in ironing of a cloth and having excellent slipperiness of an iron by compounding a specific polyhydric alcohol with a water-soluble polymer.
SOLUTION: This spray type water-soluble finishing agent is prepared by containing 0.1-20.0wt.% of a polyether-type polyhydric alcohol having 13-200, preferably 20-60 carbon number, e.g. polypropylene glycol or polyethylene glycol and 0.01-20.0wt.% of one or more than two kinds of water-soluble polymer selected from a group consisting of modified starch such as hydroxypropylated starch, a cellulose derivative such as carboxymethyl cellulose, and a polymer (salt) obtained by polymerizing one or more than two kinds of monomer having at least a vinyl group and/or an aromatic ring and having a sulfonic acid group, e.g. styrene sulfonate (soda).
