PURPOSE: To obtain the subject composition causing extremely little scorch contamination troubles of clothes in ironing by preparing an aqueous composition containing a modified starch, a specific silicone modified with a polyalkylene oxide and a specific dimethylpolysiloxane and filling the composition in a spray container.

CONSTITUTION: The objective spray-type sizing agent composition is produced by filling an aqueous composition containing (A) a modified starch, preferably hydroxyalkylated starch, (B) one or more kinds of polyalkylene oxide-modified silicone expressed by formula I or formula II (R is alkyl or H; m is 8-5,000; n is 8-2,000; a+b is 1-20) and (C) one or more kinds of water-soluble dimethylpolysiloxanes of formula III (X is 8-15,000) together with (D) a propellant such as LPG in a spray container. The sizing agent composition has remarkably decreased tendency of adhering to an iron in ironing to remarkably improve the ironing workability.
