PURPOSE: To provide sprayed deposit having a mixed compsn. and its manufacturing method in which the correlation among the crystalline structure, particle size, their dispersing state and deposit strength in mixed sprayed deposit is made clear and the particle size and dispersed state are controlled for increasing its strength and toughness and reducing its anisotropy.
CONSTITUTION: The sprayed deposit having a mixed compsn. formed by simultaneously thermal-spraying different kinds of materials having diffenrent m.p. and thermal conductivity contains equi-axed crystals. Furthermore, in the thermal spraying method of the above deposit having a mixed compsn. or the conventional deposit having a single compsn., by changing the particle size of the starting powder to be used and/or the feeding rate of the powder in which the particle size of the spray particles in the deposit is controlled. Moreover, it is a spray deposit material 'the componental particles having high strength or high toughness are dispersed in a state in which they are deformed in a ratio higher than that of other particles.
