To provide a spring packaging body so constituted as to prevent mutual entangling of springs, by weaving springs, such as easy-to-entangle coil springs or the like, in particular, long dimension springs, between tapes corresponding to warp yarns.
The spring packaging body is so constituted that the paper tapes 1, 2 are aligned at least in three rows, the mutually adjacent paper tapes 1, 2 weaving the springs 10 between them, which is alternately repeated, thus packaging the springs 10 with the paper tapes 1, 2. This not only renders the adjacent springs completely free from being entangled, but also makes it possible to insert the springs 10 in the spaces constructed by alternatingly expanding the adjacent paper tapes 1, 2, thus easily packaging the springs 10. The springs 10 also become completely free from being entangled when they are encased after packaging. Furthermore, it becomes possible to easily address to even long-dimension springs 10 by providing at least three-row paper tapes 1, 2 at a plurality of positions and adjusting the intervals between them, with minimum of an inventory of the paper tapes 1, 2. In addition, if the paper tapes 1, 2 are made heat-resistant, they become free from influences of residual heat of the springs 10 after their heat treatment, thus enabling curtailment of packaging time.
