PURPOSE: To enable to regulate the size of droplets of a sprinkled liquid by a method wherein a main pipe laid over a certain region in a closed loop manner can be fed with water at high pressure or at low pressure freely switchably, in the device for sprinkling water or a liquid chemical on an orchard, a farm or the like.

CONSTITUTION: A main pipe 1 is laid over a certain region of the orchard, farm or the like in a closed loop manner and a required number of sprinkling ports 2 such as sprinklers or nozzles are connected to the main pipe 1 at adequate positions. On the other hand, a pump 3 for feeding pressurized water is connected with the main pipe 1 through a feed water pipe 4, at the middle of which are provided branch pipes fitted with a valve 5 as well as a valve 6 and a reducing valve 7 in parallel with the valve 5. When pressurized water is fed by the pump 3 while closing the valve 5 and opening the valve 6, the water pressure is reduced and the water feed rate becomes the same as usual, so that sprinkling is conducted as usual. When the valve 6 is closed and the valve 5 is opened, the liquid is sprinkled from the sprinkling ports without being reduced in pressure, so that the device can be utilized for sprinkling the liquid chemical.
