To provide a computer system keeping safety against the loss of data due to power interruption.
The computer system is provided with at least three power management states namely, a normal operation state, a stand-by state and a suspending state. The feature of the stand-by state is that devices such as a video controller, a hard drive are made in a transparent low power mode in view from an operating system and application executed by the computer system. The feature of the suspending state is that after an execution code is interrupted and the state of the computer system is set to hard drive, the state of the computer system is saved in a file on a hard drive so as to disconnects a system power source. After the system power source is restored, the state of the computer system is resumed by reading from a hard drive and loading so that the operating system and application should not received bad influence.
