Title:
START CORD DETECTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH08116261
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform functioning so as to decode and/or expand plural different encoded input signals by providing the buffer of a fixed size and a fixed width and a means for padding the buffer. SOLUTION: Processing stages 36 are mutually connected by 2-wire interfaces 31 and 42 so as to transmit tokens along a pipeline and a control token and a data token are interfaced with all the processing stages in the pipeline and mutually act with a selected processing stage in the pipeline. Further, the processing stages 36 are reconstituted corresponding to the recognition of a selected token. Then, a pipeline machine is provided with the buffer of the fixed size and the fixed width and the means for padding the buffer so as to pass through the optional number of bits and the padding means is this start code detector.
