Abstract:

To provide a start determination device for enabling a driver to visually confirm an image in an easy manner.

The start determination device 1 is equipped with camera 11a, 11b for imaging a side direction of an own vehicle and acquiring an image of the side direction of the own vehicle, a navigation system 12 for detecting a current position of the own vehicle, a start determination part 13 for detecting an image display necessary area requiring display of an image from a neighboring area of the own vehicle based on the current position detected by the navigation system 12 and map information and a monitor 14 for displaying an image acquired by the camera 11a, 11b before the own vehicle enters into the image display necessary area in the case that the image display necessary area is detected.
