Abstract:
PURPOSE:To eliminate interference of a bearing by providing a tank and a check valve capable of passing compressed gas from a supply source only in the direction of static pressure gas bearing in the proximity of said bearing. CONSTITUTION:Compressed gas passing through a compressor 1 and a filter 3 passes through a check valve 11 permitting the passage only in the direction of arrow 10 and enters a tank 12 and then a static pressure gas bearing 7 rotating with high speed. Thus, the interference of said be-aring can be prevented in the case of shut-off of the compressed gas due to troubles of a compressed gas supply unit, leakage of said gas and breakage of piping system.
