Abstract:
PURPOSE:To shorten the axial size of a coil end by forming the coil end to simultaneously apply pressing force to the inner peripheral surface of a frame and the end direction of a stator core. CONSTITUTION:A foil-shaped insulator 10 is provided on the part corresponding to the outer periphery of a coil end 6a of a frame 1, i.e., the entire inner peripheral surface projected from the end surface of a stator core 2. The coil end 6a is filled and secured with fluid filler such as insulating varnish in the inner peripheral surface of the frame 1 through the insulator 10. In this case, the size of the bore of the coil end 6a is larger than the size of the bore of the stator core, and the axial end surface of the coil end 6a is press molded at the stator core end surface side. In this manner, the axial size of the coil end can be shortened, and the heat sink effect can be improved.
