Abstract:

To provide a stator of an electric motor and a manufacturing method of the same in which an open slot can be formed between teeth, the magnetic connection between the teeth and a yoke is secured so that the high efficiency of the electric motor can be obtained, while the molding accuracy of the teeth and the yoke is high and the manufacturing accuracy of the inside of the tooth in relation to a rotor is high so that it can be applied to a high speed motor and a turbocharger.

A composite tooth is provided which is configured by integrating a hollow disk 21 having an open hole 21a in the center and multiple teeth extending radially from the hollow disk to the radial direction externally. A yoke 12 in the form of a hollow ring is also provided which have multiple fitting grooves 12a inside for fitting outer edges 14a of the multiple teeth by tight fitting. A winding is attached to each of the teeth from outside, the outer edges 14a of the multiple teeth are press-fitted in and fixed to the multiple fitting grooves 12a respectively in the thickness direction. The hollow disk 21 of the composite tooth is cut and removed, and the radial direction inner ends of the multiple teeth are separated. An open slot is then formed between them.
