Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce the working temp. in the steel, to suppress the formation of oxidized scales thereon and to make better its surface skin by extruding a steel contg. specified C, Si, Mn, N and Fe at a prescribed temp.
CONSTITUTION: A steel constituted of, by weight, ≤0.01% C, ≤0.01% Si, ≤0.15% Mn as well as ≤0.012% C+N and the balance Fe is refined. The steel is extruded at 500°C to the Ac2(°C). Thus, its working temp. is reduced, the energy required for heating is reduced and the formation of oxidized scales is suppressed to improve its surface skin.
