Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently improve the bending strength of a connecting section to a bend working to the connecting section, where upper/lower steel pipe piles are connected by inserting a male cylinder 20 into a female cylinder 10.
SOLUTION: In a connection structure in which the female cylinder 10 and the male cylinder 20 are installed at the ends of a lower pile 40 and an upper pile 30, respectively, and the upper-lower steel-pipe piles 30 and 40 are connected and fixed, a peripheral groove 24 is formed at the pile-axial direction binding end face 21 of the male cylinder 20, and a front end projection 14 fitted into the peripheral groove is formed to the female cylinder 10 and formed in a spigot-joint shaped structure.
