Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the influence of twist caused by providing a steering angle ratio variable mechanism to avoid the degradation of steering feeling and durability.
SOLUTION: A drive pulley linked with a steering handle and rotating and a driven pulley 60 linked with a steering gearbox 13 steering a wheel and rotating are connected by operation cables 15i, 16i, and the driven pulley 60 is connected with an input shaft 107 of the steering gearbox 13 provided with a steering angle ratio variable mechanism 106 changing a steering angle ratio with an actuator 122. In the steering angle ratio variable mechanism 106, although the position of the driven pulley 60 changes following the input shaft 107 moving in accordance with the modification of the steering angle ratio, since the driven pulley 60 is connected with the drive pulley through operation cables 15i, 16i, a twist occurring in the steering handle or the drive pulley is avoided, and the degradation of steering feeling or durability caused by providing the steering angle ratio variable mechanism 106 is suppressed to the minimum.
