The holding mechanism 20 includes a column-side bracket 30, a vehicle body-side bracket 40, and a lock mechanism 50. The column-side bracket 30 includes a plurality of projections 30X. The vehicle body-side bracket 40 includes recessed parts 40X of which the number is larger than the projections 30X. Additionally, in a holding state that the column-side bracket 30 and the vehicle body-side bracket 40 come into contact with each other to generate a friction force, the projections 30 and the recessed parts 40 are engaged with each other.
