Title:
STEERING ORIGIN ALIGNING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2551320
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent a steering origin aligning device for an automated guided vehicle from malfunctioning by storing the value of an incremental encoder for detecting the rotation of a steering motor driving shaft when a steering motor is stopped by a gate means.
CONSTITUTION: When wheel steering is conducted by a servo motor 4, an incremental encoder 5 outputs AB phase signals, causing either a CW rotary detector 9 or a CCW rotary detector 10 to detect and output. When a wheel is rotated, either of a limit sensor 6 and 7 detects a rotary limit. When the Z phase of the incremental encoder is turned on, either of an AND gate 12 and 13 outputs depending upon the rotary direction, causing an OR gate 14, latch 15, and AND gate 16 to output, forcibly turning off a servo driver 17, and storing the value of an AB phase at the moment in a RAM 18 as an original position.
