Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enable to transmit signals at a high reliability by providing a transformer which has less change in magnetic connection due to rotation of a rotary part provided facing each of a rotary part and a fixed part of a steering wheel and detecting conditions of switches provided at the rotary part on the side of the fixed part. CONSTITUTION:A transformer 5 is provided for transmitting signals between a fixed part, or column, and a rotary part, or steering part, and a switch unit 6 is connected to a coil 3 at the rotary part of the transformer 5. The switch unit 6 comprises resonance circuits 20, 21...2n, 2m, and switches S1-Sn. A coil 4 at the fixed part of the transformer 5 is connected to a controller 7 by lines 8. The controller 7 comprises a scanning and judging circuit 71, a voltage measuring circuit 72, a sweepage generator 73, and an impedance 74, and is provided so that conditions of the switches S1-Sn at the rotary part are detected through coils 3, 4 of the transformer 5 connecting a pair of lines 8, the fixed part, and the rotary part by magnetic flux.
