Abstract:
PURPOSE: To manufacture steering wheels inexpensively by foam-forming the rim core metal covering of the steering wheel with vinyl chloride plastisol.
CONSTITUTION: The covering 2 of a rim core metal 1 consists of soft foam having a skin layer which is foam-molded with vinyl chloride plastisol. The adhesive 3 is of vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer base.
