To facilitate coming and going between a vertically movable support body in a step eliminating lift and an indoor floor part by enabling horizontal overlap of the support body with the indoor floor part.
This step eliminating lift 100 has the support body (the table) 48 vertically moved by a lifting mechanism 40 and is installed in an entrance to the indoor floor part 13. The lift 100 is provided with a moving mechanism (a linear slide mechanism) 20 moving the support body (the table) 48, in its ascent position, between a position (an underlap position) horizontally apart from the indoor floor part 13 by a required distance and a position (an overlap position) wherein the support body (the table) 48 horizontally overlaps with the indoor floor part 13 by a required amount.
