Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sterilizer capable of suppressing discoloration of a resin caused by deterioration of the resin by irradiation with ultraviolet rays while keeping a sterilization function.SOLUTION: A sterilizer 1 which sterilizes by irradiating the surface of a resin with ultraviolet rays includes: a light-emitting section 6 having a flash discharge tube 5 for emitting ultraviolet light; and a transmission restriction section 7 which is provided between the light-emitting section 6 and the resin, and restricts transmission of light having a wavelength other than 265 nm or transmission of light a wavelength of 250 nm or less, out of the ultraviolet light emitted from the light-emitting section 6.
