Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a new sterilizing fungicidal composition, capable of showing good sterilizing fungicidal activities by synergistic effects thereof and effective against pathogenic germs and molds by combining two kinds of well-known sterilizing fungicides.
CONSTITUTION: This sterilizing fungicidal composition is obtained by combining 1-(4-chlorophenoxy)-3,3-dimethyl-1-(1,2,4-triazol-1-yl)butan-2-ol of formula I and/or 1-(4-phenyl-phenoxy)-3,3-dimethyl-1-(1,2,4-triazol-1-yl)-butan-2-ol of formula II with 4-(2,2-difuluo-1,3-benzodioxol-7-yl)-1H-pyrrole-3-carbonitrile of formula III. The composition may be mixed with a spreader and/or a surface-active agent for use. The compound of formula III is preferably used in an amount of about 0.2 to 1 pt.wt. based on 1 pt.wt. compounds of formula I and/or formula II.
