To easily and accurately stick a tape member on a sticking body by using a simple device without requiring large cost.
A placement tool 21 on which a plurality of suction holes 31 are penetrated and formed so as to correspond to seal material sticking portions of a carrier plate 9 is prepared. While vacuum is applied to each of the suction holes 31, a seal material 19 is placed on the placement tool 21 such that one side face and the opposite side face of the seal material 19 cover the respective suction holes 31, to perform suction positioning. The carrier plate 9 is set on the placement tool 21 such that the seal material sticking portions correspond to the seal material 19 positioned for suction, and is pressed against the seal material 19, so as to stick the seal material 19 on the carrier plate 9.
