Abstract:
To provide a stitch decorative component manufacturing method capable of easily reducing expansion or tear of a sewn hole.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a stitch decorative component 10 includes a sewing device 40 having an insertion needle 2, which vertically movably holds a yarn engaging member 1 into which a yarn S1 is inserted, and a pushing pin 3, which pushes out the yarn engaging member from a tip of the insertion needle, and sews a stitch pattern SM by inserting the yarn engaging member between a base material and a skin material. The yarn engaging member is mounted by a plurally connected yarn engaging member unit 20. The sewing device comprises a balance device 5 for vertically moving a yarn fed to the yarn engaging member unit, and a needle holding block 6, which holds the insertion needle and has a yarn engaging member passing hole 61 formed so that the yarn engaging member cut off from the yarn engaging member unit is pushed by the pushing pin and can pass downward. An air feed device 8 for feeding compressed air to the yarn engaging member passing hole to form an air flow of the compressed air flowing downward in the yarn engaging member passing hole is mounted on the needle holding block.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
