To provide a stopper of a transportation carriage in no need of adjustment even when a flat annular part in parallel with an axle on the periphery of a wheel is worn.

One end of a pressing plate 11 is attached in the vicinity of the wheel 3 in the transportation carriage so that the pressing plate is rotatable in a direction contacting with/separating from the wheel. The pressing plate is regularly energized to the wheel direction by a spring 19. The other end of the pressing plate is connected to an operation lever via a wire 21. The pressing plate is pressed to the wheel by the force of the spring by the operation of the lever. In this stopper, the pressing plate is provided with an inclined surface 11c corresponding to the peripheral inclined part 3c of the wheel between the flat annular part 3a in parallel with the axle 5 in the periphery of the wheel and the side face 3b of the wheel, and the inclined surface of the pressing plate is pressed to the peripheral inclined part.
