Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the electronic endoscope device which is less degraded in sensitivity, can decrease color slurring and can improve a vertical resolution.
CONSTITUTION: The electronic endoscope device which obtains an endoscopic image by picking up the image of a testee body by a solid-state image pickup element 16 provided in the electronic endoscope has an illuminating means for irradiation the testee body with plural rays of illuminating light varying in wavelength regions and memories 41 to 46 for storing the signals read out by interlace scanning of the solid-state image pickup element 6 according to the illuminating light. The device is also constituted to have an interpolation circuit 48 which forms pseudo signals in a vertical direction based on the plural signals corresponding to the illuminating light read out by the interlace scanning and a video signal forming means which forms video signals by the signals outputted after being made simultaneous by the memories 41 to 46 and the interpolation circuit 48.
