Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot-water storage type water heater that controls hot-water filling operation without causing hot-water shortage to sudden hot-water supply demand which frequently occurs during seasonal transition.SOLUTION: The heat pump water heater 120 has boiling operation for heating water contained in a hot-water storage tank 20 through a heat pump unit 10 to make hot water and hot-water supply operation for supplying an amount of heat stored in the hot-water storage tank 20 to a bathtub 150. A target heat accumulation amount Q to be accumulated collectively in the hot-water storage tank 20, on the basis of the amount of use quantity of heat in the past few days. The heat pump water heater includes an outdoor air temperature detection means for detecting an outdoor air temperature, and a deciding means deciding whether the hot-water supply operation has been performed or not in the past few days. When the minimum temperature of outdoor air temperature in a predetermined period is below a predetermined reference value in the past and the deciding means decides that the hot-water supply operation has not been performed, the heat pump water heater increases a target thermal storage amount by a predetermined quantity.
