Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a LDH-containing composite material in which the conductivity of a LDH-containing functional layer formed on a porous substrate and/or in a porous substrate is significantly improved.SOLUTION: Provided is a layered double hydroxide-containing composite material including: a porous substrate; and a functional layer formed on the porous substrate and/or in the porous substrate and comprising a layered double hydroxide represented by a general formula: MM(OH)A-mHO (in which, Mis a 2-valent cation, Mis a 3-valent cation, Ais a n-valent anion, n is an integer of 1 or more, x is 0.1 to 0.4, and m is an arbitrary real number.), and in which the functional layer further contains manganese (Mn) at the interface with the porous substrate as well as in the vicinity thereof.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
