PURPOSE: To provide effective strength compensation by compensating strength of only thin transfer papers without giving wavy undulations to thick ones.
CONSTITUTION: When this transfer papers are discharged, strength compensating rollers 8 project their lower ends lower than the lower ends of paper discharging rollers 6 by their own weights to transfer papers 2 sandwiched and sent out by the paper discharging rollers 6 and 7 so that the transfer paper 2 is pushed down and given wavy undulations. On the other hand, when the transfer paper is thick, the strength of the transfer paper itself is large so that the strength compensating rollers 8 is lifted upward to withdraw their lower ends to the lower end position of the paper discharging roller 6. Thus the transfer paper 9 is not given wavy undulations so that the effective strength compensation is provided.
