Abstract:
To provide: a stretchable sheet which exhibits a good appearance and satisfies both of high stretchability and high air permeability; and a production method thereof.SOLUTION: Provided is a production method of a stretchable sheet for absorbent article, comprising: a step of contacting elastic filaments in a fusible state with a nonwoven cloth to form a laminate formed by fusion of the elastic filaments to the nonwoven cloth; and stretching the laminate to provide the same with a treatment for stretchability manifestation. As the nonwoven fabric, there is used one having maximum strength of 40 N/50 mm or less under a condition of a strain rate of 3.3 s-1. In the treatment step for stretchability manifestation, the laminate is stretched at a strain rate of 30 s-1 to 200 s-1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
