Abstract:
To improve angular characteristics of a radar without affecting detection characteristics of a radar device.SOLUTION: In a structure R mounted in the vicinity of a radar device 10 capable of detecting an object, the radar device 10 includes a plurality of reception antennas (reception antennas 22-1 to 22-4) that extends in a first direction and is juxtaposed in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction, and is mounted on a vehicle 1. The structure R is composed of a dielectric and is arranged in the vicinity of the radar device 10, has an incident surface that changes an angular component of an incident electromagnetic wave in the first direction, and fixes the radar device 10 to a body 3 or a bumper 2 of the vehicle 1. This makes it possible to improve angular characteristics of the radar without affecting detection characteristics of the radar device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
