Abstract:
PURPOSE: To firmly fix a screen which is sufficiently endurable in terms of strength, which is satisfactorily designed, and which is made thin and to prevent flexture caused by the thermal expansion of the screen by using a material having nearly the same thermal expansion coefficient as the screen for the material of a frame.
CONSTITUTION: The frame 1 and a screen holder 4 are made of a material having the thermal expansion coefficient almost equal to that of the screen F2 and the screen R3. A screw 10 pressing and supporting the ends of the screen F2 and the screen R3 through the screen holder 4 changes a screwed amount according to the change of the thickness of the screen so as to cope with the change of the thickness of the screen. The screens F2 and R3 are elongated and contracted according to the external temperature or the temperature due to heat generated from the inside, but the frame 1 and the screen holder 4 made of the material having nearly the same thermal expansion as that of the screens F2 and R3 are elongated and contracted by the same amt. as the screen, so that the screen is not bent or stressed.
