Abstract:
To improve comfortability to sit on by preventing the direct contact of part of the body of a seating person with supporting members.
This structure has membrane-like members 2, such as mesh or films or fabrics, supporting members 3 which hold part of the peripheral edges of the membrane-like members 2 and open parts 4 which are released from the supporting members 3 among the peripheral edges of the membrane- like members 2. The supporting members 3 are built to a frame 6 of the chair 5 in such arrangement that at least portions of the open parts 4 directly support the load of the seating person by themselves.
