PURPOSE: To prevent damages from occurring to fixing parts and to make replacement of a fascia board easy by a method wherein the lower part of the fascia board is connected to a side board of an eaves gutter through a support groove and a support projection, the upper part of the same is fixed to a roof material through a support metal, and the middle part of the same is detachably fixed to a hanging metal through a set plate.
CONSTITUTION: The lower part of a fascia board 3 is connected to a side board 2 on the outer side of an eaves gutter 1 through a support groove 4 and a support projection 5, and the upper part of the same is connected to a roof material 14 through a support metal 16. A set plate 18 that engages with a projection 9 provided on the middle part of the fascia board 3 is detachably fixed to a hanging metal 11 with a tightening part 19. When replacing the fascia board 3, the set plate 18 is removed and the fascia board is drawn out from the eaves gutter 1. After this, a new fascia board 3 is fitted with its projection 5 inserted into the support groove 4, and its projection 9 is engaged with the set plate 18, and is fixed to the hanging metal 11 with the tightening part 19. Thereby the fascia board 3 can be supported firm and safely against wind pressure.
