PURPOSE: To convey culms and stems while keeping them in a good state without fail regardless of remarkable variation of their amount by attaching an elastomer lapping over the valley parts of a packer as viewed from the direction of the rotation axis so that the elastomer may rotate monolithically with the packer.

CONSTITUTION: Culm and stem-conveying passages 23 are each formed by a rigid packer 13 and a guide 14 and an elastomer 24 lapping over the valley parts 22 of the packer as viewed from the direction of the rotation axis is attached so that the packer may be monolithically rotated. Culms and stems can be elastically nipped and conveyed by the elastomer and the guide without fail regardless of their amount.
