The structure of storage device for a vehicle includes a storage device fixing part 3, the storage device opening/closing part 4 openably and closably provided in relation to the storage device fixed part 3, and a side lock device 21 provided between the storage device fixed part 3 and the storage device opening/closing part 4. The structure of the storage device for a vehicle is provided with an opening preventive structure part 31 for emergency with which the side lock device 21 is prevented from being unlocked by an emergent input load acting on the storage device opening/closing part 4 from the cabin side and the storage device opening/closing part 4 is prevented from opening the storage device fixed part 3.
