Abstract:
To provide a structure supporting structure for supporting a structure as a target of seismic isolation with respect to a foundation with a simple arrangement.SOLUTION: A structure supporting structure comprises an upper guide member fixed to a structure and an intermediate guide member positioned under the upper guide member and supported by a foundation instead of a conventional structure support structure. An X axis and a Y axis, which are a pair of virtual axes, are orthogonal in a horizontal plane. An X-axis sliding surface which is a downward-facing surface formed in the upper guide member and an X-axis sliding surface which an upward-facing surface formed in the intermediate guide member can relatively move along the X axis by sliding. The X-axis sliding surface includes a pair of left and right X-axis unidirectional sliding surfaces positioned in parallel along the Y axis, and the pair of left and right X-axis unidirectional sliding surfaces are respectively inclined in opposite directions to each other along the Y axis.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
