PURPOSE: To facilitate the work and enhance the mounting strength by fixing a receiving member, provided with a holding part of inner side glass, to a structural member and closing a part between inner and outer side glasses by a seal member while interposing a cushion member in the holding surface.

CONSTITUTION: An inner side glass 2 of a double-layer glass, used for a curtain wall and a lighting roof material or the like, is fixed to a structural member 6 through a receiving member 14 provided with a holding part. Further, outer side glasses 1, 1 are filled with a weather seal 13 therebetween and connected while closing a part between the inner and outer side glasses 1, 2 by a structural seal 5. In this way, a supporting structure of the double-layer glass facilitating work excellent in mounting strength and appearance can be obtained.
