Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain substituted phenyl ethers usable as an active ingredient for agrochemicals, especially insecticides and produceable by a method known itself. CONSTITUTION: This compound is represented by formula I (R1 is a 1-8C alkyl, a 3-8C cycloalkyl, a 2-8C alkenyl, a 2-8C alkynyl, a 1-8C alkoxy, a 1-8C alkylthio, etc., which may each be substituted; R2 is Cl, Br, methyl or a monohalomethyl; R3 is H, a halogen or methyl; R4 is H or methyl; R5 is H, a 1-8C alkyl, a 3-6C cycloalkyl, a 2-5C alkenyl, a 1-3C alkoxy-1-3C alkyl, trifluoromethylphenyl, a substitutable benzyl, etc.; R6 is H, a 1-8C alkyl, a 3-6 cycloalkyl, a 1-4C alkyl, a substitutable phenyl or pyridyl, etc.), e.g. 2-ethyl-4-[2- chloro-4-(1-methylpropoxy)phenoxymethyl]-1,3-dioxolane. The compound is obtained by reacting a compound of formula II as an isolated form or a form of salt with a compound of the formula R5 COR6 or a compound of formula III (alkyl is methyl or ethyl).
