Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substrate for surface mounting which is capable of enlarging the mounting area on the top surface and arranging the number of input and output terminals on the rear surface.
SOLUTION: A leg portion 52 is formed for holding a substrate 20 by a shield cap 50, and the shield cap is attached to the substrate in such a manner that the lower end of the leg portion 52 is positioned between the top surface and the bottom surface of the substrate. Since the leg portion 52 of the shield cap 50 is not made to content with the rear surface of the substrate 20, many input and outupt terminals can be arranged on the rear surface. Also, since the shield cap 50 is not supported by the top surface of the substrate 20, the mounting area on the top surface of the substrate can be increased.
