Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure an engine brake force during deceleration, in an engine to control a suction air amount of an engine to a target suction air amount by controlling the opening and closing timing of an intake valve.
SOLUTION: Based on an accelerator operation amount (S601) and a car speed (S602), a deceleration state is decided (S603). When it is during deceleration, a low pressure in an intake pipe is set as a target (S604) and when it is not during deceleration, a pressure in an intake pipe near an atmosphere pressure is set as a target (S605). The opening closing timing of the intake valve is decided based on a pressure in the intake pipe and a target intake air amount limited such that a pressure in the intake pipe and a suction amount of oil to a combustion chamber are adjusted to an allowable amount.
