Abstract:
PURPOSE: To simplify the entire construction of a suction device for a motor cycle without losing suction function by intaking the suction air of the suction device through a chain case.
CONSTITUTION: A slide valve type carbureter 48 provided at a motor cycle communicates at one side thereof through a suction passage 47 with an engine (not shown), and provides at the other a suction air filtering element 57. The front face of the element 57 communicates within a chain case 22 containing a chain 19 for driving front and rear wheels via a gear 20 supported by an axle 21. An air intake port 23 is provided at the case 22 to introduce the air intaken therefrom through the case 22 into the carbureter 48.
