To provide a suction nozzle for a vacuum cleaner which is suitable for sucking and removing dust attached to the lower ends of legs of furniture with legs, for example, by simple operation.
The suction nozzle 5 includes a confluent part 11 with a confluent space, a connection pipe 15 and a pair of suction arms 16. The connection pipe 15 is to spread negative pressure into the confluent part 11, and is provided to project backward from the confluent part 11. The pair of suction arms 16 are disposed to project forward to be branched in two directions from the confluent part 11, forming a space S which can receive an object to be cleaned such as a leg of the furniture with legs and which becomes narrower as closer to the confluent part 11. The suction arms 16 have suction ports at lower parts of the opposite surfaces from each other to communicate with the inside of the confluent part 11.
