Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a new sulfamoyltriazole derivative having an excellent microbicidal activity, excellent in safety for crops, and useful as a microbicide having good preventing and treating effects at a low dose.
CONSTITUTION: A compound of formula I [R1, R2, R3 are H, halogen, lower alkyl, nitro; R4, R5 are lower alkyl, or R4 and R5 together form a (lower alkyl- substituted) 3-6C alkylene]. For example, 1-(N,N-dimethylsulfamoyl)-3-(3,5- dimethyl-4-chloropyrazol-1-yl)sulfonyl-1,2,4-triazole. The compound of formula I is obtained by reacting a compound of formula II with a compound of formula III (X is halogen) in the presence of a base preferably in a solvent.
