Abstract:
To provide a compound effective for treating neurodegenerative and/or neurological disorders such as Alzheimer's disease.
The sulfonamide compound is represented by formula I. This compound inhibits the production of A-peptide (accordingly, -secretase activity) in mammals including humans. Also, accordingly the compound of formula I and its pharmaceutically acceptable salt can function as a therapeutic agent in treating, for example, Alzheimer's disease in mammals including humans.
