Abstract:
This invention provides a monitoring system which can smoothly process the fault report sent from the monitoring terminal when calamity happens and improves restoration efficiency. A communication platform has an exchange transmission unit which performs exchange transmission by exchanging object phone numbers when receiving dial-up transmission from the monitoring terminal. A monitoring center has a object telephone number notification unit which set different notification telephone numbers for different regions, a calamity region detection unit which identifies the calamity area when the report number of each setting region in each unit time exceed the threshold, and object telephone number transition alteration unit which alters the object telephone numbers at monitoring terminals in areas except the wide-range calamity area aiming at the communication station when the wide-range calamity area is identified in the calamity area detection unit.
