PURPOSE: To acquire an electronic part mounting device of a simple structure and a fast mounting speed.
CONSTITUTION: A drive body 12 having a pressure member 14 which enables independent operation and projects in a proceeding direction is provided inside a mounting head 3 besides a shaft 9 of an attraction nozzle 13 and a shaft elevator mechanism 10, and part feeding operation of an electronic part supply part 8 is carried out prior to descending operation of the attraction nozzle 13 to an attraction position of the electronic part supply part 8. Since the drive body 12 and the elevator mechanism of the attraction nozzle 13 can carry out ascend/descend drive independently, it is not necessary to wait for start of ascend/descend of the attraction nozzle 13, an operation time of an attraction process of an electronic part 7 can be reduced and a work time can be reduced. Furthermore, a stroke of the drive body 12 can be made smaller than that of a main body installation and a simple structure can be realized.
