PURPOSE: To prevent biting, in a rod material supplyer for scooping, for instance, screws from a storage box and transferring the scooped screws to a vibrating shoot rail, by forming an anti-biting section between the shoot rail and a scoop board support.

CONSTITUTION: A scoop board 6 is fixed rollably up and down through a shaft to a support 15 arranged in a storage box 5. A preventing section 35 is provided between a shoot rail 9 and the support 15 such that a gap 19 is formed obliquely between the support 15 and a pair of shoot rails arranged with the starting end section thereof being positioned in the storage box 5. Since the gap 16 is formed obliquely, intruding direction the head section 2 of a rod member 4 is different from the direction of the gap 16 and thereby the head section 2 passes through the gap 16 without being bitten thereby and contacting with a projection 36 at the preventing section 35. By such arrangement, biting is prevented.
