Title:
SUPPORT FOR PROMOTING PROLIFERATION OF IMMATURE BLOOD CELL (HSC) INCLUDING HEMATOPOIETIC STEM CELL (HSC) AND COMPOSED OF PARTIALLY DECOMPOSED POLYMERIZABLE PROTEIN AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING HSC BY USING THE SAME SUPPORT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2005192521
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a new support for effectively proliferating immature blood cells (hereinafter referred to as HSC) including hematopoietic stem cell existing in trace amount and to provide a method for effectively proliferating and producing HSC by using the support.

The support for promoting proliferation of HSC is composed of a partially decomposed polymerizable extracellular matrix (ECM) protein in which polymerization ability is retained and cellular adhesiveness is lowered. The method for producing HSC comprises partially decomposing a polymerizable ECM protein to provide a partially decomposed polymerizable ECM protein in which polymerization ability of a protein is retained and cellular adhesiveness is lowered, adding the ECM protein to clot (a material obtained by coagulating plasma obtained by excluding a hemocyte ingredient in blood), using the resultant material as a support for promoting proliferation of HSC, culturing a blood cell containing the HSC and proliferating and producing the HSC.
